OnePlus To Release New 9 Series Smart Phones with Hassleblad Technology!!
OnePlus is set to announce the release of its revolutionary new Smart Phone Series, the 9, 9 Pro and 9R, at 10am ET on March 23, 2021.
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be released to T-Mobile outlets in the USA, Evan Blass reports, however there has been no confirmation as to whether the tech giant will make either Smart Phone available to other carriers. According to PC Mag, “Lau notably called out T-Mobile as a partner but did not mention Verizon.”
The OnePlus 9R is slated for release in India.
With its state-of-the-art hardware and camera technology from photography developer Hassleblad, the 9 Series comes with Hassleblad Pro Mode, featuring colour calibration and a User Interface (UI) built on Hassleblad’s image-processing software.
“With OnePlus’ top-of-the-line hardware and computational photography and Hasselblad’s rich aesthetic knowledge in traditional photography, I am confident that the OnePlus 9 Series will be a major leap forward in our ability to deliver a premium, flagship camera,” OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, said.
According to OnePlus, the tech giant and Hassleblad will collaborate on sensor calibration and colour tuning, increasing to more dimensions in the future.
“Future OnePlus cameras will have a 140-degree panoramic field of view, and "T-lens technology" for faster focus on the front-facing camera,” PC Mag suggests.
The OnePlus 9 features a 2,400-by-1,080, 6.55-inch 120Hz screen, whilst the 9 Pro houses a 6.7-inch, 1440p screen, with power-efficient technology.
PC Mag suggests viewing exclusive test results from DisplayMate Labs, demonstrating that the 9 & 9 Pro screens will be highly readable in sunlight.
OnePlus confirmed on Twitter that the new 9 & 9 Pro will showcase a Snapdragon 888 processor and a 5-layer gaming-grade cooling system, however it has been announced that the 9R may be powered by the Snapdragon 870.
Mr. Blass claims there will be 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB models available in the 9 and 9 Pro.
PC Mag claims the OnePlus 9 Pro will provide at least 65-watt fast charging, as well as 50-watt wireless charging, with the ability to charge the phone in 43 minutes. The OnePlus 9 Pro phone will also have two batteries and the ability to wireless charge horizontally, according to OnePlus.
The OnePlus 9 will be available for purchase in "Winter Mist", a shade of purple, whilst the 9 Pro will offer consumers two choices, a "Morning Mist" colour and a “Pine Green” colour.
